Story
Hi there!
I’ll be running the 2023 NYC Marathon to make a difference with a non-profit official charity partner, Keep A Child Alive (KCA).
Co-founded in 2003 by Alicia Keys, KCA is committed to empowering children suffering from HIV/AIDS with the necessary resources, confidence and opportunities to reach their full potential and live healthier, happier lives.
Currently providing treatment and financial support to 9 community organizations in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and India, KCA helps over 150,000 people each year.
Their list of efforts is extensive. Aside from HIV/AIDS treatment, KCA also provides critical care services for mothers and babies in need. For improved quality of life, they educate young people on sexual/reproductive health rights and livelihood/leadership skills.
